Crudo Hosts Italian Winemaker Dinner with Gianluca Garofoli

March 16, 2011

Garofoli is considered to be one of the most prestigious wineries from The Marches Region of Italy.  Situated in the center of the Italian peninsula, The Marches region extends from the mountainous chain of the Apennines, which is the regional border to the west, to the Adriatic, serving as its eastern boundary. This beautiful wine region borders Abruzzi, Latium, Tuscany, Umbria and Emilia-Romagna.  The Marches area has been spotlighted by the wine press as the new upcoming area of Italy to watch for production of high quality wines.

On Thursday, March 17, 2011, guests will have the chance to meet one of most recognized winemakers form The Marches, Gianluca Garofoli, of Garofoli and experience a Marche-style food and wine pairing dinner at Crudo, Downtown Scottsdale’s adventurous little small plates cafe.
